THOR : The Dark World

Thor: The Dark World – The Walkthrough Guide

Attacking enemies

Tap anywhere on the screen to move Thor around, and tap on an enemy repeatedly to attack it until it is finished. By holding down two fingers on the screen, you can throw Thor’s hammer, which is useful for destroying force-fields, or hitting long-distance opponents.
Summoning Allies

Summon allies and stronger Einherjar allies using the touch screen. This is dependent on your energy level and if you are waiting on a countdown. Your energy does rebuild over time, so you should have no trouble in consistently summoning help.

General co-fighters

Your co-fighters, who tend to be foot soldiers and archers lack the strength to deal with tougher enemies, but they are good against smaller opponents.
Einherjar Soldiers

The Einherjar soldiers, who have better armor and skills can be powered up over time using rune coins. Find rune coin by destroying items in the environment or by meeting particular goals in a stage.
‘True’ Allies

True allies unlock later in the game. These are the strongest allies that Thor can call upon. They do take a little while to unlock but they are certainly worth the wait.
Thor’s four individual areas

You can boost Thor in four individual areas:
Strength

This makes Thor faster and stronger each time you raise a level.
Armor

These are new suits of armour that you can use once they are unlocked, either by collecting enough stars in the game or, if the option is available, buying.

Skills

Here, you can teach Thor new moves on the battlefield, including a collective hammer spin that can hit multiple enemies at once. It is a good idea going for this move first, as it is useful whenever you become surrounded.
Weapons

This section is mainly about hammers. They get a bit bigger in size than the basis Mjolnir model Thor begins with and even come empowered with flame, electricity and more over time.
Allies’ Stats

You can also increase the general speed and strength stats of your allies which will serve you better in the long run during later levels of the game.
Cash Shop

Unfortunately, there is no way around the game’s cash shop. At the beginning of the game you are given three general health potions, as well as a few mana potions. Eventually these do run out and once they do you will need to use Uru stones to buy new potions. The game sadly does not let you purchase stones with in-game currency and so a $1.00 should buy you enough to get a new health potion, but you may have to buy more.

If you do not like paying for extras then you can also restart a level without paying any money, but once Thor runs out of energy he is out of luck, since you cannot restore it.
